As a young wife I struggled because I had a worldly view of marriage which left me feeling unfulfilled. It wasn’t until the Lord and women like you taught me the biblical view. Since learning this, I have found true a joy and fulfillment that I never dreamed possible. A woman truly does have a tremendous amount of influence in how happy both she and her husband will be in their relationship. I’ve started teaching other women these truths and I have seen countless women completely change their marriages for the better. The reason for the change was that these women started applying these same truths you that you are teaching here. I have a saying, “When a woman crowns herself queen, she isn’t guaranteed a king. But, when she crowns him king, she is usually promoted, by him, to be queen!” We were made to be his helpmeet, there is no true fulfillment outside of that role. Thanks for all you do here! I forward these posts to women all the time!

Well your blog has been a blessing. I thought it was too late for my marriage when I found this blog. After 17 years of marriage my wife and I separated and divorce was inevitable. Too much has happened for us to get back together. I would read these posts and think “I should of done this or that”. After 11 months seperated, God intervened and brought us back together. She has since dismissed the divorce and I got her to subscribe to your blog. Thanks you for enriching marriages with Gods work!

Remember that you have an enemy that is trying to destroy your marriage. Fight for the gift God has given to you both. Be humble and God WILL exalt you! The grass is not greener on the other side. God will give you both the grace and peace to make it through. Praying for you both!!

My spouse & I have been blessed because of the array of topics concerning marriage. I especially love when you talk about the appearance of a wife & how much it matters to the husband…If I’m honest it’s actually a love hate feeling I have when you post those particular ones..lol..I used to work outside of the home so being presentable wasn’t an issue. It started when I became a stay at home mom. It was so subtle I didn’t even realize I had stopped making an effort in this area. Than one day as I was reading your blog you mentioned the importance of looking presentable, working with what you have & not looking like a slob. OUCH! Had I become a slob in my appearance? Sadly yes I had. Those words were a wake up call for me. Do I slip up ever now & than..yes I do. But because of your blog I’m more area of my appearance. I want to look good for my husband & to honor God. Thank you for the investment put in touching on so many different subjects regarding marriage. They are changes wives one blog at a time!

Dear Sister Nancy I love your blogs. Believe me your blogs helped me to understand my husband. Since we been married almost 25 years we both came into this marriage with luggage. We both were drug addicts but I got clean and sober and my husband didn’t. I got saved in 1995. God was my fortress throughout this all time. You see my husband just recently got clean and sober and saved. But really saved. God really spoke to me when I read your blogs. I stuck it out and I emphasize it was only God that carried me. But your blogs helped to ask God to change me and I can’t change my husband. Thank you so much and God bless.
